About the U•Club
The URI University Club is a private, non-profit, members club.
Membership is open to faculty, staff, and alumni, parents of
students, graduate students, non-profit organizations, businesses,
and friends of URI.
Membership in the U-Club helps to support the University of
Rhode Island by providing a warm and welcoming environment
where members and guests can perpetuate their connection with
URI. If you are new to the University, it is a great way
to meet other URI friends in a casual setting. As
alumni, the U-Club provides a way to renew and sustain your
connection with URI.
The
U-Club serves lunch Monday through Friday as well as dinner on Friday
night. We offer special events exclusively for members such as
special Holiday Sunday brunches, Friday night theme dinners,
and holiday events. Club members may hold functions at the
U-Club such as birthday, anniversary, promotion parties,
as well as weddings and showers.
Membership in the U-Club provides
reciprocal privileges at other ACUC member clubs in various
national locations.
The
U•Club is situated in the heart of the Kingston campus, just a
short walk from the University's picturesque quadrangle and
across the street from the Fine Arts Center. The beautiful
arboretum and rose garden are a short walk across Upper
College Road.
